started as a recording project to feature heavy grooves, odd time signatures, synthesizers, harsh vocals, and lyrics inspired by humankind's dark past and dismal future.
The band takes its name from the Sacred Cenote, an ancient Mayan sacrificial site located in Chichen Itza, Mexico.

never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too.
